Pricing

Tattoos are all priced by the piece. Rarely will I charge by the hour. This way when a client makes an appointment they know how much they will be spending that day. Some tattoos are large enough that they take multiple full day sessions, in which case, each day will have its own price. The only time I give out hourly rates is for very large projects such as back pieces.

Tattoos are always quoted within a range to allow for variables. When given a price, however, you never have to worry about spending more than the maximum of the range that day. It is possible that something completely unforeseen causes your tattoo to be more expensive than originally thought wherein a second session may be needed.

I also have a minimum charge of $200. This is sufficient to cover the cost of a very small tattoo such as a semi-colon or a single word, fine line script no larger than 4 inches wide.

Below is an example of a piece that would be classified in the $200-$500 range. Content could be anything but typically these tattoos are 4 inches in diameter and have minimal to middling details. Content could include things such as a rose, or an image with some script, sometimes even a larger chunk of text on its own.

This is an example of the $500-800 category of tattoos. Usual content is animal and human portraits with minimal background and sometimes including script. Size is quite loose here as well; sometimes the larger the piece the easier and faster the tattoo goes. This is by far the most common price for my tattoos.

This tattoo would fall under my day rate. Usually tattooing from open to close for $1000. Typical content involves portraits, lighthouses, boats etc, featuring some backgrounds or other aspects like roses seen below. Other things could be flowers and pocket watches, larger animal portraits featuring other content, etc.
